Roberto Boligan, The Miami Software Entrepreneur, Shares His Journey to Entrepreneurship
Roberto Boligan, the Miami, Florida native was born on May 14, 1984 to a Christian mother. He didn’t come from a family of entrepreneurs, in fact, his family would be considered ordinary blue-collar workers. But his negative experience while working for corporate America pushed him to live beyond his current reality. “They say the day you are completely disgusted with your life will be the day that changes everything. . . I became tired of working 9 to 5 jobs and being laid off for reasons outside of my control. . . working for myself was critical and it was either sink or swim. I took a leap of faith, never gave up, and through God, all things became possible.” Like many budding entrepreneurs, he didn’t start off by earning tons of money, but Boligan was excited to earn income by utilizing his skills. He says that when he earned his first check by himself, it was then that he realized that entrepreneurship was his passion. Success, Credibility, and Overcoming the StormEntrepreneurship is challenging and not everyone can handle the pressure that comes with being an independent self-starter. Many people give up before they have the chance to reap the benefits of all of their hard work, but Boligan’s faith and upbringing has been the strength that he needs to keep going. As a young entrepreneur who owns multiple software companies, he has been challenged to overcome many obstacles along the way, when asked about his keys to success, he had this to say: “There are much more than three big keys to success, but if I had to sum it up as best as I could, persistence, faith, and mindset would be the three principles that are crucial to not only success but personal growth.” When it comes to his credibility, he says that making his family proud is his top priority. He has come far in his journey to entrepreneurship, and in doing so, have inspired others to reach inside of themselves and pull out their best qualities. “I do my best to make my family, friends, and loved ones proud... I have grown several businesses from 0 to 7 figure earners. I have motivated hundreds of thousands of people on my social media platforms with inspiration. I have been featured in over 13 publications for philanthropy and giving back to people to build their spirit... but I still have much more work to do.”He feels like there is much more work to be done, and he’s not slowing down! He has a strong passion to inspire other like-minded individuals by being a positive example on what’s possible if you have faith in yourself. During our interview, I asked him about the future of his brand and he stated that in 10 years, he hopes to bring people together by creating apps that are designed to spread positivity and enlightenment.
