PLA+ 3D Printing Filament - 1kg x 1.75mm
3D META’s PLA+ 3D printing filament is produced with high quality, specially modified toughened polylactic acid (PLA) material, producing a filament that is twice as strong as ordinary PLA filament and is suitable for most FDM printers. Our PLA+ filament has exceptional bed and layer adhesion, does not warp or crack, has excellent dimensional stability and is manufactured under strict QA standards. Other features of 3D META’s PLA+ filament also includes being 100% biodegradable as well as being FDA food safety approved. All up this gives users an easy to print, consistent and reliable, high quality filament that you can use with confidence.Key Features: Manufactured with high quality materials. Stronger than ordinary PLA. Suitable for most FDM printers. Exceptional bed and layer adhesion. No warping or cracking. 100% Biodegradable. FDA food safety approved. Manufactured under strict QA procedures. Consistent, reliable, easy to print with filament. PLA+ Printing Parameters: Nozzle Temperature 190℃ - 220℃ Bed Temperature 25℃ - 60℃ Print Surface Most print surfaces ie. Most commonly PLA products are used for decorative / ornamental pieces, cosplay, and product prototyping. With it’s added strength PLA+ can also be suitable for some functional parts, printer upgrades etc.One downside to PLA/PLA+ filaments are that they have low UV resistant, meaning that if your printed piece is going to be outside it will weaken and fade overtime due to UV exposure. Good filaments for outdoor use are PETG and ASA.Storage and Drying:To prevent moisture absorption, it is recommended to keep your filament in a cool, dark, dry area, preferable sealed in an airtight bag.Filament can be dried with various methods including a dedicated filament drying machine, food dehydrator, oven, or even your printer if it’s fully enclosed. For PLA and PLA+ filaments we recommend a drying temperature of 40℃ - 45℃ for a minimum of 4 – 6 hours. Why choose 3D META 3D printing filaments?High quality materials – All 3D META filaments are made for high quality materials.Strict manufacturing procedures and QA standards – All 3D META filaments are produced, checked, and tested to the highest standards.
